Alcoholics Anonymous
is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
The only requirement
for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions.
Our primary purpose
is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
Recovery
There is a solution
The tremendous fact for every one of us is that we have discovered a common solution. We have a way out on which we can absolutely agree, and upon which we can join in brotherly and harmonious action. This is the great news this book carries to those who suffer from alcoholism.

“UN DESIGNIO PARA VIVIR”
Por nuestra parte, nosotros hemos buscado la misma salida con toda la desesperación del hombre que se está ahogando. Lo que al principio parecía un endeble junquillo ha resultado ser la amante y poderosa mano de Dios. Se nos ha dado una vida nueva o si se prefiere “un plan para vivir” que resulta verdaderamente efectivo.

Cada día trato de levantar mi corazón y mis manos en gratitud a Dios por enseñarme un “plan para vivir” que realmente funciona por medio de nuestra hermosa Comunidad. Pero, ¿qué es exactamente ese “plan para vivir” que “realmente funciona”? Para mí, es la práctica de los Doce Pasos lo mejor que pueda, la continua conciencia de un Dios que me ama incondicionalmente y la esperanza de que, cada día, hay un propósito para mi ser. Yo soy verdaderamente bendecido en la Comunidad.
