Alcoholics Anonymous
is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
The only requirement
for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions.
Our primary purpose
is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
Recovery
There is a solution
The tremendous fact for every one of us is that we have discovered a common solution. We have a way out on which we can absolutely agree, and upon which we can join in brotherly and harmonious action. This is the great news this book carries to those who suffer from alcoholism.

LA ÚLTIMA PROMESA
De pronto comprendemos que Dios está haciendo por nosotros lo que nosotros mismos no podíamos hacer.

La última Promesa del Libro Grande se hizo realidad para mí el primer día de mi sobriedad. Dios me mantuvo sobrio ese día, y todos los demás días en que le permití a Él obrar en mi vida. Él me da la fortaleza, el valor y la orientación para cumplir con mis responsabilidades en la vida y para que pueda llegar a otros y ayudarles a mantenerse sobrios y a desarrollarse. Él se manifiesta en mí, haciéndome un conducto de Su palabra, de su pensamiento y de sus actos. Él trabaja con mi ser interior, mientras yo produzco en el mundo exterior, porque Él no hará por mí lo que yo puedo hacer por mí mismo. Tengo que estar dispuesto a hacer Su trabajo para que Él pueda funcionar con éxito a través mío.
